The Boys Come to MJ!

Our nephews and their beautiful mother came for a visit in Nashville a couple of weekends ago and we always love when they come!  They are so cute!  I know they are getting too big to say cute, but they are.  They both loved Paisley, but Caden kept calling her his best friend, his BFF!

They really were best friends all weekend!

Caden and Paisley played fetch over and over.  I'm still amazed at how good with dogs he is.  She would bring it right back and drop it right in front of him.

My parents' 17 year old dog, P.K., was also at our house that weekend.  Poor P.K.!  She is so old, but they boys, especially Copelan loved her so much.  They both wanted their picture holding her.  I laugh just looking at these pictures again.

The boys usually wake up early like their Uncle B and Aunt C.  So we all had coffee outside on the patio with Paisley.  Brandon only brought me coffee and I had to whisper to him to remind him to bring them some as well as Copelan had already asked where his coffee was.  Their Papa Cobb lets them drink coffee with him and they think it is so fun.  So he made them some decaf like mine.

We had the best weekend!  I'll leave you with Copelan being Copelan dancing around outside!

Baby Weeks 25-27

So I am a few weeks behind again and I've missed a week or two of pictures, but no worries the pictures I do have are plenty of evidence to show you how BIG Finley and I have gotten.  These past 3 weeks have been a big growth spurt.  I know I say that every time, but its true again.

In the past couple of weeks, Finley has really grown!  At 25 weeks 4 days at our last specialist appointment, she was 1 lb 15 oz.  Basically 2 pounds! 

(And that was almost 2 weeks ago now...imagine how big she is now!)

She is around 16 inches long!  Maybe she will be tall like her Daddy!

Lucky for us, our specialist just got a 3D ultrasound machine and we happened to be in that room.  The technician had a little extra time and turned it on for a minute at the end of our ultrasound.

She has her arm in front of her face.  Unfortunately, we only got one picture of her face.  She was tired after being scanned for the last 20 minutes and decided she'd had enough and rolled over and refused to turn back to the camera.  I hope this isn't an indication of a diva nature we have in store for ourselves later.  Either way, we were so excited to get one 3D picture of our baby girl!

So we have been a little busy and I didn't take the 25 week picture or the 26 week picture.  So here is my growing belly at 26 weeks 5 days.

Then again a few days later at 27 weeks!

Paisley wanted in the pictures this week too.

We are so excited to meet our baby girl in less than 3 months!  I'm ready for her to be here now, but of course I don't want her to come until she is fully cooked.  

We started making some progress on her room this week too!  Can't wait to show you what we've done!

Baby: Week 24

Hello 6 Months!
This week Finley is around a foot long and weighs in around 1.7 pounds.  According to my phone apps, she is about the size of an ear of corn or an eggplant.  That seems quite small to some of you, but when it is growing inside of you... It seems enormous!

This past month has been a month of change.  We have officially moved so baby girl has a room.  My belly has grown like a million inches.   

And Baby Girl finally has a name.  

In 3 1/2 months, we will proudly welcome Finley Cross Steele to our family!  

Even this early on, I'm ready for her to be here.
