Got Christmas Money? ...I've got your answer!

I know if you are like me some of you have some Christmas money just burning a whole in your pocket.  Have I got the best way for you to spend it or what?  I know, like any good friend I will not leave you in the dark when I love something.  And I love adoption.  I read tons of blogs every day ...yes everyday... and I fall in love with these children more every day and I fall in love with the families that love them.  You may have noticed...or probably not as you don't stalk every corner of my blog, so let me direct you to the list on the right column of my blog showing my fav adoption blogs.  You will fall in love too!  There is one in particular I want to share with you today.

Ashley and Nate Miller have the most adorable family.  They both went to Lipscomb like me.  We didn't really know each other well in school but you know how it goes...we have a couple of mutual friends and with the adorableness that is their children its hard not to notice them.  God has called them to adopt a little boy from Ethiopia, which is so exciting.  You can read all about this journey they have been on here on their blog.  But yuck...adoption is super expensive.  Trust me I have done my research.  If you know me well, then you know I do research before making decisions...I even made a pros and cons list before deciding to date my now husband...extreme I know, but that's for another post.  Back to the Millers, they are selling 147 Million Orphan gear to help fund their adoption. (See their super cute gear in their family picture above!)  It is a fabulous organization.  Check it out here.
Example:this gorgeousness, I just purchased...
Doesn't it look buttery soft!  I'm so excited!

You can purchase yours here Purchasing this shirt will provide food, water, or medicine for a child in need meaning 50% of the profits of this shirt will go to a child in Uganda, Ethiopia, Honduras, China, or Haiti.  And the Millers will receive a portion to go toward their adoption cost!  So email Ashley today to get yours!  They have cute kids t-shirts too!  You have to order through Ashley for the purchase to count for their family.

They are also selling Magazine bead necklaces which are super cute!  The women of the Karamojong tribe create these beautiful necklaces by hand from re-cycled paper … 147 Million's goal is to help these women maintain sustainable income for their families.  I think all of you could rock these necklaces as a serious fashion statement!  So head over to Bringing Nolan Home to get yours today!

If your family was stepping out to follow God's calling for your life, wouldn't you want people to be supportive of you?  I know I would.

You love what?

Maybe I love too much.
Okay we know that's not true.  If anything I am considered to be a little more like chilled lemonade...like tangy but cold...unlike my hot chocolate of a husband who makes everyone feel warm in his presence.
Or maybe my love is just placed in different places than normal people.  Here are a few corners it may be hiding in...

Justin Bieber.

I tried to fight it but I just can't hide it anymore.

I have BIEBER FEVER!
(Can you hear me shouting it at the edge of the grand canyon like on the hover-round commercial...That's how I'm picturing this admission.)

Its hard for me to admit this.  But I have the chills to prove it.  I'm pretty sure its contagious ...so W-A-T-C-H out.  That little hair-flippin', baby faced, Canadian munchkin with a voice like liquid gold is so adorable.  I just want to pinch his cheeks and be his mom!
Every time he is on TV I attempt to do that... Baby Baby Baby Ooh dance ...yes... I was lip-singing that line as I was typing it.

Babies.
Those big round chubby cheeks, rolly hamhock legs, and cute pouty lips...Oh they are so kissable.
Beautiful photos by Katie Mosley Photography.

Better yet...I love MULTIPLES
Twins. Triplets. You name it.  I watch all the shows...Kate + 8. Raising Sextuplets.  I love them all.
Look at these cute triplets!
(Identical twins with their fraternal triplet)
I'm sure you are wondering...Who are these babies?  I don't know.  But I know they are gorgeous and I read their mom's blog just to look at their pictures.
I also read because I love adoption!
Ethiopian Tripletland

Trashy Reality TV shows.
Lets take a look at my DVR list right now:
Real Housewives of New Jersey.  Flipping out.  Teen Mom.  Rachel Zoe Project.  Bethenny Getting Married?.  Project Runway.  Real Housewives of D.C.
At least this season I didn't watch Jersey Shore but I wince as I admit I did watch the first season.

Blog-stalking.
You are probably sitting on your couch right now working on your blog...chances are I stalking you as you read.  Scary, huh?  I do some major creepin' on most of you.  Here are some of my faves.

Katie and I went to high school together.
Now she is a professional blogger and graphic designer (see her design business, Fancy Pants Designs, below.  Katie's blog is a hilarious, shockingly honest look at motherhood.  I love that she will say what everyone else is thinking.  Check it out.

Meet my friends, Elliott and Cherry.  I love keeping up with their lives and their super cute growing-baby-boy, Lofton, through the eyes of a dear friend.  I love her.  You'll love her.

The Shinnicks
Meet one of the most creative couples I know, Will and Caity.  Caity is a little Martha Stewart!  If you aspire to be more Martha like head on over and maybe she will rub off on you.
Also, check out her gorgeous stationary collection here.

The Daley Double
Daley.  An inspiring woman of faith.  Beautiful soul.  Fiery competitor.  Warm like honey.  That's all I have to say.

Okay, I could go on...I'm telling you I am a legit blog-stalker.  But I will share more of my favorite on another occasion.

Chocolate milk.
No not the thick uber sweet milkshake-style chocolate milk you buy in the carton.  The old-school plain white milk with good ol' Hershey's syrup in a glass cup so you can see how much syrup is floating at the bottom!  Now to do this right, you just barely mix it up then you drink the chocolate milk with a spoon scooping up a little bit syrup each time!  Yes, I drink chocolate milk with a spoon!
Oh yum...heaven for me.  Hell for my husband!  He hates when I drink things with a spoon because he is sensitive to sounds.  I don't even slurp but it drives him bonkers.
I would show you guys a picture of my chocolate masterpiece but my camera was lost/stolen at the Denver airport.  So boring blog post until I my new one arrives.

Well hope we got to know each other a little bit better today.  Sorry its been so long since my last post.  I was in a no-camera-depression.  I will try to be better.  I may do some informative safety posts soon...I know you guys are eager for those.  But I'm sorry they will be for your own good and for the good of you families.  So DEAL!  Love you, friends!
