Happy Happy Birthday to B!

It is my sweet B's birthday!  26!  Wow!

(Yes, I am older.  I'm not going to try to hide it, but we also aren't going to talk about my old woman wrinkles either.)

Its hard to believe we met when he was a mere baby of 18.  No we'll both admit we didn't have eyes for each other just yet.  B was too busy macking on all the new freshman ladies and the cougars of the Quest team.  But it wouldn't be long before we became the best of friends when he joined me on the quest team himself...Falling madly in love.  Okay so that might be mushy-gushy and I know Cara has officially stopped reading but its true.  And this day only comes once a year!

Don't we look like we're 12!  In my head, I never think about us looking different, but then you look at a picture and its like REALITY CHECK!  Imagine when we are 80 looking at these!

Believe it or not, I know its hard to, but I am actually pretty tan in this photo.  You would think from the contrast I am naturally albino.  It's as if in the summer I am married to a different man.  

Love you, B!  Can't believe its been six year since I gave you the first birthday card before Shady Hawkins.  (Don't correct me.  It's supposed to say "Shady".  It was a classic Quest event.  He was my date.)

Happy Birthday: Round 2

For whatever reason, July is a big birthday month in the Steele house.  I have two sisters with birthdays and both of B's siblings were born in July; funny thing is each of our siblings were born on back to back days.  July 4th and 5th = Wes and Cara, July 17th and 18th = Candace and Whitni.  Crazy huh!  It could only get weirder if they were also the same ages.  

So this week we celebrated Candace and Whitni!

I'm so lucky!  I have the best sisters!  And they are almost all nurses.  Crazy, huh?  It is so nice to always have family in the medical field.  Hope your family is as great as mine!  If not, I'm sure we can work out a deal.  I'm willing to share.

Happy 4th and 5th of July!

Yes 4th AND 5th!  They are both national holidays in our family!

Not only is the 4th the birthdate of our beautiful America, but also our favorite brother and farmer, Wes!  

Wes and his beautiful wife, Stephanie, are parents to the cutest white dog you've ever scene, Oliver.

The celebration continues to the 5th of July in celebration of the blessed birth of our newest RN, Carebear!

Didn't she do an awesome job!  I'm so glad I got to be apart of it!  You can thank Rachel Goode for the fabulously painted signs...Yes she painted the "Happy Birthday Karen" and the "Fabulously Fifty" sign...and she hand cut the purple glitter 50 out of foam board...Can you believe it?!  

Also, lets note how absolutely gorgeous Jess looks at 16 weeks pregnant!  Rachel and I dream of being that cute when we are with child.
